"Hazyview " came in at 11/8 giving us a winner to end the month with!

The "Double your bank test" did not produce the results I was expecting but it was plain to see why.

I was using all 3 of Davids "Stop at a Winner" tips without a staking plan.

The two other tips although not being outstanding did produce a profit of over 500pts between them, but the losses got the better of the winners.

Did we learn anything from this...

I think if there is a lesson to be learned it is that mixing tips of different types in one test is not a good idea, especially if you do not follow the instructions on the box!

David made it very clear to me I would need to use a staking plan, opp's sorry Dave.

Could this be a Win for "Red Flyer" 4.10 Kelso, Red Flyer betting forecast 7/1

We have been talking quite a bit about outsiders so when I came across this race it looked good for a bit of dissection.

The favourite in the race is "Joint Authority" I must admit I cannot see the reason for this but it has raced in some good company.

I think Shazal (4/1) is a much more exciting prospect although my doubts include Class E race, extra 2lb and an extra 1 1/2f, maybe to much in this company.

"Hopeful Chance" is another capable horse but after it's last outing there are doubts especially on it's reliance of a tongue-strap.

So why "Red Flyer"?

This horse needs softer ground and with the rain we have had lately this should help his cause.

He has raced in pretty good company (Cool Roxy last week) and has got a nice steady jump pace, he was also close to winning against "Blue Hawk" a couple of races ago.

Tentative...I know!

I just feel it's one of those times where everything could be coming together for a horse that has the ability, and the recent form just to get the edge.

Maybe a good each-way?
