Todays ramblings
Good morning, I hope you had a good weekend.
I really wished I had a lay bet on Schuey on Friday. In the morning the
price was 3.1, which I thought was worth the risk but then forgot to
lay the bet.
We had an interesting day in the Lay Bet Systems part of the forum on
Friday, where Zoom Zoom was the AW pick of the day.
Because of A Non Runner the selection was actually compromised, but I
argued that the AW selection hardly ever came in placed anyway, so the
selection should stand.
The problem was that the races was at 5.10, so it gave everyone enough
time to build up excuses why they shouldn't bet and even try to trade
out, if they already had.
Well as you may know, Betfair went down at about 5pm just as I was
placing my bet and others were trying to trade out.
What happened?
Well Zoom Zoom led all the way until the last furlong and then
Kingsmaite went flying past, clocking up another win for the AW
system!
