Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
It just seems no matter what I try I can not pick a
horse to place in the top 3!
I really thought Friday's experiment
would give us at least one win instead we had a 4th and 5th, so I guess it is
back to the drawing board.
Strangely though we managed to win on
everything else, including the Racing Post - win selection.
So anyway
what I thought I would do instead is introduce a new back win system this week
that a friend and I have been working on.
So far we have been
pleasently surprised by the amount of winners we have been getting, so we
thought we would share the selections.
Here are today's.

We
could look at this to see how they do as a place system as well.
Another friend rang me at the weekend who is quite new to using Betfair
and told me he had made a big mistake while putting on a back bet
of £50 on a race on Saturday.
He had clicked "submit" but it came back with "unmatched". Now if
you know betfair quite well, you will also know sometimes you will
get a match a few moments later.
Anyway you should at least check by looking on the market screen for
green and red numbers or looking at the "matched bets" section.
Well I am not sure if he was in a rush or just wasn't thinking, but
he did the same thing 3 times until he realised that he had just bet
£150 on a 3/1 favourite.
It was his lucky day and the horse actually won so he was very happy
but it could have easily been the other way round.
I think he has learned an important lesson about checking each bet.
Although I must admit I am still not totally sure how he could have
made 3 bet's in a row and not notice and betfair shows you each bet
even if it is "Unmatched".

bet.

there are movements then they are likely to be small.
