Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
A good day for the selections yesterday and another
winner on the new guest selection (back 4 Profit). I know you keep asking for
results but I just need to get them in to an excel file so they look correct so
please stay with me.
I must admit I am always a little wary about back
selections as they never seem to sustain a winning run throughout two seasons.
So far this system has survived the end of the jump season, gone through the
beginning of the flat season and still showing consistent winners so it is
looking good.
There is no doubt that this system works at level stakes
but if we have another couple of winners then I am going to start getting more
aggressive with the stake to see what happens.
If you take it that in
the 5 day's we have been following them @ 5.00 we would be nearly £10 up
and if we have another winner today we will be well over this then we should
use that to our advantage.
When backing at level stakes you can use a
much higher % of your bank than you can if you are staking or laying, in fact
on these selections it could be even worth running some kind of
accumulator!
Where as I normally recommend a maximum of 1% of your bank
in this case I would have thought 5% or maybe a little more would be fine,
although I would probably say stick to 5% and work out your new stake everytime
you increase your bank.
As I use test accounts and can be a little more
wild, then if we win today, tomorrow I will take out my original £5 and
maybe a little profit and start using my winnings as my stake, the trick is to
take some as profit.

some thought I think that the only way to run this system is as a "Stop in
Profit". I am going to keep the maximum odds set to 6.00 and I am going to be a
little naughty and add in a lay ladder staking plan.

am not sure about NR's, the favourite does tend to win most of the time, with
the second favourite about a 3rd of the time so it could be worth backing the
the second if the favourite is a NR. If the second favourite is a NR then you
can take the next runner in the betting.
