Todays ramblings
Good Morning it's Friday.
Well the only tip my lay systems came up with today was a NR, so
a quiet day on that front.
It's probably best to tread gently today as Pipe is out in force in
order to fend of the challenge from Paul Nicholls.
My comment yesterday "Commercial Flyer is having another go at winning
today, can he keep up his record even with with another 6lb?"
Well he did and considering his form lately evens was a pretty good
price, whether he could stand another hike in weight we may be able to
find out today as he is booked into the 15.05, Perth where he will
be challenging Comanche War Paint who is also carrying extra weight.
One to watch but I don't think I will be betting!

I wish it could be that easy all the time, but I think time will show
you that it isn't.
There are of course other indicaters we can use to determine whether
the horse we are looking at is a good choice. The Racingpost RPR is a
good example and Secret History was top rated 101 with his nearest rival
being 93 and Auwitesweetheart was 86 with his nearest rival just 1 away
on 85.
The Racingpost racing are not the official ratings but they may as
well be because of their popularity.
Another indicator that many people use is Spotlight Verdict and
Postdata, incidently both of these tipped both of our selections
yesterday.
One other thing you may want to take into consideration,(I will tell
you that I don't) and that is the number of other tipsters who
are expecting the selection to win, both of yesterdays selections were
high at 11 and 12.
I wish we could give this another test today, but Sandown is the only
sort of flat race, but there are no favourites star rated there.
So we will have another look on Monday.
