It wasn't a good French F1 GP for Hamilton. I think he is a great driver but I just get the feeling that at the moment he is trying far to hard and making mistakes because of it. I don't think he has anything to prove and he drives far better when he thinks the same.

Well we had our first loser on the lay Guest Selections (back4profit) on Saturday. What do I always say about weekends?

"If it is going to happen it will at the weekend."

I have always believed this and I have been proved correct again. I will confess that I actually missed the loser because when I looked at the price in the morning the back was about 9.6 and the lay was a lot higher, so I decided to wait to nearer the race. If you remember on Friday I told you that we had visitors and although we were going out, we were due back before the start. Lucky for me while we were out we decided to go up to lakes and so didn't get back in time for the start, so I missed making the bet and losing!

I am not even sure what price the lay went off at, but at SP 6/1 then I presume it was 9 or less on Betfair but on the results page I put 9.8 which means our profit for the month is now only 8.2...Only.

If you are following these selections can I ask you to just sit back today and don't try any staking plans to try and get your loses back from Saturday. Just stake as normal just to see what happens over the next couple of days.

I did get on the dutch though yesterday and won back a little of my loses from Fridays loser.

After some thought I think that the only way to run this system is as a "Stop in Profit". I am going to keep the maximum odds set to 6.00 and I am going to be a little naughty and add in a lay ladder staking plan.

I am not sure about NR's, the favourite does tend to win most of the time, with the second favourite about a 3rd of the time so it could be worth backing the the second if the favourite is a NR. If the second favourite is a NR then you can take the next runner in the betting.
