There is no Bismarx today because Jon is taking a short break.
What a day yesterday I didn't have one winner on my "Win" bets but luckily
made up with several lay bets, so going by that I should think the
favourites had a bad day!
I was a little upset with the "Lay of the day" because I really fancied
telling you about Subyan Dreams in the 20.20 Leicester but at the time
the betfair price was 3.40 and I wasn't sure which way the betting would
go.
It actually went down to an sp of 2.75 and lost.
Oh well it's easy to call, after the event.
I am going to take my camera to Goodwood on Saturday, to see if I can get
some pictures to put up on the website.
I will admit that I am not the best photographer in the world, but with
all the horses around maybe I can get 1 or 2 good shots!
Last year was a very hot day and I remember that in the last race there was
a horse called "Obe One". It was a 50/1 outsider, but loads of
people had bet on it at the track,don't ask me why but probably because
of the reference to "Star Wars(tm)" or they had a whisper I had not.
You should have heard the noise when it came in 1st!
