As you probably know the HRS laybot launched yesterday and I expect you have had loads of emails (Unless you ignore most of them) that are letting you know that it’s open.

And of course warning you that there are only 200 places available.

Well the urgency aside (200 is a lot of places to fill) and I am sure you will have a couple of days before they run out of spaces.

I am going to show you something I think you may miss (shortly).

The truth is that this is about the results…

Any bot out there will allow you to bet automatically so this is no big deal what we want to know is…

Will it make you money?

Well here is what I think…

First of all if you look at the results.

You will see that there is a chart with the results from 9 systems.

Actually it is 5 systems but Jason has also combined 3 systems to make another 4.

And I think this is what makes this bot very interesting.

I have always advocated the idea of looking at systems and seeing if you can find a way to make them more profitable (or just plain profitable).

I call this your “Optimum profit system” and although it really looks at price ranges and staking.

Combining one system with another is a great way of optimising profit…if it works.

I think the key (as Jason is doing) is when there is a selection that is repeated across several of the systems, then the software only bets on that selection once.

I have seen people combining systems before and often the one thing that kills them is when they have the same selection losing multiple times.

So combining the systems can produce some great profit.

But I want to show you something that you may have missed (I did say I would).

The results are taken from a 5 year period (2007 to 2012).

Let us say that we have 300 betting days per year . We do have more but let’s be conservative.

So that’s around 1500 betting days over the 5 year period.

If you look at Jason’s figures for all the systems combined there was 6184 bets that is roughly 4 a day but we have already established there are a lot of crossover selections and looking at the individual results I would say you would be lucky to get 1 selection a day.

And if you choose just one system (which would be the prudent thing to do) then it is likely you will have very few selections to start with.

Don’t get me wrong I have always believed in building profit slowly.

So that’s why I thought I would put something into the mix…

I have been testing my own lay system to GHBLite members.

Here are the results.

As you can see we get far more than 1 and often a lot more than 4 selections a day so if you want a bit more action…

Here is what I come up with.

If the HRS laybot looks like it is your thing then I will match a like for like subscription to GHBLite.

So what’s my verdict of HRS laybot.

Well if you really like lay systems and you like them even better when they are automated then the HRS laybot should suit you.

Jason is obviously trying to help you make the most profit and I think the combination systems are the best way to go although I am pretty fascinated by system 4 and will probably follow that myself shortly.

I have to be honest I don’t think any lay-system will give you a smooth ride but these 5 years of results do show they are profitable.

Don’t go into it blindly though take head of Jasons own warnings…

• Manage Your Betting Bank Professionally
• Add Systems As Your Bank Develops

Actually I haven’t seen many of those stalls around now days.

I used to go to Blackbushe market on a Sunday and there were always lots of traders doing that type of selling.

(Actually I think it may have been what got me interested in selling…why I don’t know.)

There is no doubt about it they made it “to good to be true” and it worked.

But now days I am wiser (I hope) I know it’s not quantity…its quality that counts (I am right aren’t I?).

So when I heard about the HRS Laybot offering…wait for it…

Laysystems in one bot.

Alarm bells started to ring.

I mean come on its hard enough to get 1 lay system to work long

term let alone 9.

I would have just left it there and forgot all about.

Sending it into my file of “bad ideas”.

But then I noticed that the person behind it was Jason Franklin.

Now I don’t trust many people in this Market but Jason has been around a while and many of his systems seem to show a profit.

So although I don’t know him personally I have always thought that he seems to be above board.

OK I am not going to lie to you……

At this moment I haven’t tried the bot myself (although I have signed up for the  information) so I can not tell you how good it is.

I have heard that they have been tested to his own readers for over 6 months.

Ok all I have done is recorded 7 days of selections and results because unlike other systems that cost £50, £90 or even over £100 Greyhound laypro is under £20.

That’s doesn’t mean I am not taking the review seriously it’s just that I would rather spend my time doing longer reviews on systems that are expensive and can leave a big dent in your pocket.

Over the 7 days we had 70 selections and lost on 4.

Now the advertised SP of the losing selections were 3/1, 5/1, 10/1 and 6/1 so by all accounts we should have easily made profit.

I really wish it was that simple but with greyhound markets it never is!

There are two things that you need to consider…

Firstly the maximum price you are willing to take.

Greyhound prices on the exchanges are well known for being higher than SP especially on the lay side, so you will need to manage your risk which will probably mean you miss out on a lot  of selections.

You could stake to maximum liability which will give you the chance to take on most of the selections. And with so many it could be a reasonable strategy.

Secondly liquidity is a problem in the Greyhound market and the money doesn’t normally start to come in until 2 minutes before the off.

So it may be better to employ GHBlite or the Grey Horse Bot to help you get the selections on quickly especially if you decide to bet to liability.

It is an interesting system and because it takes very little work to get the selections and it is relatively low priced, my feelings are it could be well worth getting your hands on a copy just to see if you could come up with an optimum profit strategy (OPS) because it does seem to pick a lot of losing selections.

Please Note I didn’t do the selections on the weekend (Hardly ever do).

This is probably not the most in depth review I have ever done but I have explained why.

If I did have a rating system it would go something like this.

Greyhound Laypro final score…

Presentation 5/5 (nice bit of software) Concept 4/5 (I can not give it 5 because I don’t actually know how it gets the selections but it seems to work!)

Difficulty 4/5 (I think the software could have done a bit more of the work for you and you still have to bet manually, unless you use the Grey Horse Bot) Profit 3/5 (Although I think you can make profit from this system and SP seems to point towards this. I think it will be a lot lower on the exchanges and so my score reflects this) 16/20 not a bad score but I think it is fair.

One final thing…

Remember Grey Hound Laypro (as the name suggest) is a laybet system so if you decide to go for it then be careful.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on Greyhound laypro.

(you can see the first part of the review here.)

I will get to the results in a second…

I just wanted to tell you a little bit about the Laypro software
because it is how you get the selections daily.

Actually there isn’t a great deal to tell…lol

Once you install Greyhound Laypro  on your system all you have to do is go
through the courses and it will automatically tell you if there
is a selection in that race or not.

Depending on the amount of races for the day it should only take
about 5 minutes to get the selections, although as a bit of a
programmer myself I think it could have been made even simpler.

But it still simple to use…

Anyway it was my second day of testing yesterday and I had 13
selections (which is quite a few for this system) but they all
won (or lost the races).

Hi there

I have been working a little more on my dutching system mainly
finding out what doesn’t work rather than what does!

Actually I was hoping the system would consist or 3 or 4 runners
in the race but I am not sure that will be the  end result.

I am using my own rating system to actually get the daily
selections and last week my top rated selection had a 17.5 win on
betfair which was quite good but the real profit seems to be when
you stick to selections that are 7.0 or below which generated
12pts profit at Betfair prices between Thursday and Friday.

Anyway more on this in my next email because I wanted to give you
a bit more information about “All by the book” the system I
started telling you about last week.

As I said in the last email I can not give you the actual process
but I can tell you a bit more about what is involved.

By the way I haven’t had any emails complaining about this
system but I have had a couple mentioning that it does have a
learning curve.

I would like to address that…

Let me ask you a question, try to answer it honestly…

If someone came along to you and said…

“If you walk down this path for 30 minutes you will come to a
gate.

If you go through the gate and then up the hill down and down
the other side you will come to some woods.

This will take about another 15 minutes.

At the edge of the woods you will find a big red tree massive and
old. Stand in front of the tree facing north into the woods.

Now count 365 paces, if you get this right you should come to a
clearing and in the exact centre of that clearing if you dig down
6 feet you will find a box and that box you will not only find
some cash but you will also find the secret to having all the
money you desire.”

Would you follow the instructions?

I suppose how much you believe what you are being told and trust
the person giving you the information will influence your
decision.

But really it would be down to how much effort you are prepared
to put in to finding the money and secret.

Yeah it’s a bit of a gamble and it will take some time, you
will even have to gather some tools.

A map to check the root.

A compass so you can point north.

And probably some string to find the centre of the clearing and
you will need a spade to dig the hole.

These are pretty easy to come by but the real challenge will be
the time and effort.

And that alone will determine whether you take the challenge or
not.

There is no doubt that “All by the book” takes some time and
effort to learn and operate the system but by all accounts if you
are prepared to work at it then there is profit at the end.

Very much like All by the book.

The system involves first of all selecting certain races.

There probably won’t be that many during a day although 1 or 2
that are outside of the criteria could drop in later, but you
could choose to ignore these if you didn’t want to wait around.

The system comes with a handy little worksheet that allows you to
work out whether the race can make a profit based on the prices
available.

The system has been updated for 2012 and has some variations from
the original theme which will suit those who want a bit more
action and don’t mind a bit more risk.

Of course if you want to stick to the original system that’s
fine.
In my final email I will let you know what I think of “All by
the Book” and how I am getting on with the system myself.

Do you know how sometimes you do something which you know you
shouldn’t but you just can not help yourself?

Well I am like that with the Greyhound Market…

See you probably already know I am a dog lover and have quite a
few of my own and as an obedience trainer I also come in contact
with many rescued dogs.

Unfortunately Greyhounds are among a  breed that need to
be rescued because they are easily cast aside by their trainers.

Not all trainers are the same but there are ones that don’t care.

And then on the other hand I lover watching the speed of these
dogs as they race around the track and of course as someone who
likes to wager this is a great market to work on.

So I do tend to have to fight with my conscience every time I get
involved with this market which is exactly what happened when I
decided to talk about Greyhound LayPro.

I know there have been some reviews already but I thought I would
have a look myself because I wanted to test the selections…

To be honest Greyhound Laypro (software) is relatively inexpensive
compared to many similar products around, so even if it only
makes a few points each month you will cover you’re your costs
quite quickly.

I know from experience that the Greyhound market is a hard nut to
crack and it won’t be instant profits because there are always
ups and downs with this market.

But as long as we can see some profit which should be the case
then that will be great.

Instead of going into all the details of the system and what’s
involved in one long email…

I will instead tell you more about Greyhound Laypro as I give you
the results over the coming emails.

P.S. Watch out for my next email, with more results and some
more information about the Greyhound LayPro system.

I thought I had hit a sweet spot at about 10 seconds but that has
gone slightly off the boil at the moment but I really do think it
is worth doing this experiment.

At the moment I have mainly been looking at under 1 minute before
the off because I think the market is pretty well formed by then,
but I am also considering looking at 1hr,  30minutes and 10minutes.

I will let you know more shortly and also the way I am picking
the races.

Something else I am experimenting with is “All by the book”.

I will admit that I got my hands on a copy after a friend
reviewed it and found it very profitable.

It wasn’t even “Steve” my secret source who put me onto
this one it was another friend who had been using it for a while.

Now I will admit I have not been “quick out of the blocks”
(where did I find that) to tell you about All by the Book because it
has been around since 2010 but…

…All by the book has been updated to V2 and I think the new
version (they include the older stuff makes it a far more usable product.

Now I am going to be honest with you and tell you that this
system will not suit everyone (more on this in a moment) and it
does have a little bit of a learning curve.

And to make to maximum use of the system you will need a few
on-line bookie accounts but the profit you can make, makes the
effort worthwhile.

Actually the latest version uses the betting exchanges as well
which gives the system a bit more scope for profit.

Now of course I can not tell you how the system actually works
but I can give you some of the details in the next email.

I mentioned that this system may not suit everyone.

It is purely a time thing because you probably really need to look
at the racing about midday and then place your bets on
qualifying races by around 1pm.

The All by the book has been shown to be very profitable at weekends as
well so you could just use it on Saturday.

To be honest I am not sure.

I saw this term used in an email and was intrigued so I ask the sender what he meant by “betting betting” thinking he had probably accidentally typed the two words together or even just missed out a comma.

Most people reading this page will understand the concept of betting.

Just in case…

This is where you place a wager on some kind of sports event like horse racing, football, cricket or some other team or individual sport.

Normally you place a back bet to win, but now we have exchanges like betfair.com you can also place a bet (called laying) that will pay out if the horse, team or player loses.

Whichever type of bet you decide to make we would without doubt term this as betting…not….Betting Betting!

Well the reply I got from the originator of the email didn’t help much because he implied someone else he new used the same term so just presumed that was how it was written.

My feelings are that someone has made a mistake and the term was either written down wrong or there should have been a comma in between them.

Yeah I know it’s not a big deal and wouldn’t normally spend time writing about it but I was just interested to see if anyone else had heard the term and if so you have an opportunity to leave a reply.

I promise next time to write about something a little more interesting but for now be safe when betting betting!
