Secondly don’t panic! If I had a £1 for every time I have seen someone
panic into making another bet just because they have lost, I could
probably buy a car.
Know your tip’s, don’t jump from 1 system to another stick to a
selection method that you know and trust, if you have a bad day you
should already know that sticking with the system will pay dividends.
You don’t have to finish in profit everyday as long as you do over
time.
Once your bank reaches £200 to £400 this is now when you can really
start to make up a useful investment as long as you have patience and
a plan.
Here are some pointers that may help you do this.
1) I always expect that I will only be able to bet 200 – 240 days
a year, holiday’s weekends, illness etc can all cut our 360 day year
down, if I do better then that’s a bonus, but my plan only takes into
account 200 – 240!
2) You will have days when you will lose but you should have a
plan in place that will either make it up quickly or over time.
3) You should have a maximum stop loss in place where you either
stop your staking plan or stop using the tips, until you see a turn
around.
4) While using one set of tips you should be testing others
(with a different bank) that will either replace or backup the ones
you are already using.
5) Stop at a winner. Unless your strategy includes making up your
daily winnings over several winners then why put yourself under
pressure. If you win get out and do something else for the day!
6) Decide on how big your bank needs to get too before you start
using some of the profits for yourself. You may just want to get to
3000 then take out 2800 for starting with 200 again. You may want to
look at it as long term investment strategy. You could even plan that
when you are winning £10 a day then you will take £5.00 for yourself,
it doesn’t matter as long as you are clear on your plan.
Building up a bank takes time, patience and planning.
Time – I know we all want to see our banks grow, just remember if you
can grow you bank by more than 10% a year you are doing better than
just about any other investment, doubling your bank is amazing, but I
suspect most of us are hoping for a lot more and make decisions based
on that thought.
Patience – look at the long term picture starting betting with a £2
stake which is 1% of your bank now, could mean in 2 to 3 years you are
staking £240.00 a bet, if your lucky enough to start with say a £1000
bank , then you could be looking at £10,000 within 240 betting days,
if you have good tips and the patience to follow it through.
Planning - I remember hearing a saying “If you fail to plan then you
plan to fail!” I think that saying suits horse racing very well, you
are going to lose so plan for it!
Actually I have a giggle about that sometimes, I had a guy who was
worried about getting a £200 stake matched when his bank was big
enough, he was staking £3.50 at the time, wouldn’t it be nice to just
have to worry about that!
