Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Another winner on ace naps, I have updated
the results to reflect the slightly better system. It hasn't made a great deal
of difference we juts feel there will be a few more bets with this
one.
By the way this is a "Daily Mail" system and takes a while getting
to grips with. David has it off to a "t" but I am still getting up to speed
because I am lazy and keep asking him for the daily
selections.

When I write for this newsletter I tend to try and give some food for thought,
as well as a practical example that you can all profit from. But today I'm
going to talk about doing nothing!
Well of course I don't mean
absolutely nothing far from it, one of the most useful things you can do as a
sports trader is to do nothing other than watch the markets during a live
event. Watch how they react to any given circumstances that present themselves
during a match. Learn how you can profit from them, take plenty of notes and
absorb what you see, if you know what's likely to happen next then you are
going to be able to profit from the market reactions, you will be one step
ahead of the majority of other punters and dare I say it, probably most other
traders. You can then start to formulate your strategies and see those profits
begin to materialise. Every thing you do depends on you understanding how the
markets work, I have watched literally thousands of live events and that
knowledge I consider to be priceless!
Now for a practical
example….
Make a note of any football match that has a pre match
draw price of say 4.5 or more. Then when the markets go in-play sit and wait
for some goals, if the underdog scores first in any of the matches that you
have noted and they score within the first 20 mins, wait for the markets to
settle down (very important) and then LAY THE DRAW!
Anyone that has
watched the markets for long enough will tell you that the problem with laying
the draw in matches that contain a short priced favourite is that if the
outsider scores early then the draw price will shrink and you will be trading
out at a loss. But if you lay the draw after the outsider scores then you are
in a win/win situation.
Now don't get greedy take a few ticks out of the
market and get out. You may get lucky and grab more than a few ticks, but keep
your discipline and don't wait too long, give it 10-15 mins and then get out.
There are three scenarios…
Nothing happens and the draw
price drifts slightly through time/price decay and you get your ticks.
The outsiders score a second and you get more than a few ticks
The
favs hit back quickly and the draw price goes out to where it was before the
underdogs scored and again you do rather well.
Practice first give
yourself time to get used to the markets and how they work, but keep this
strategy in your locker room because it's a real winner.

Readers Review
Laying Impact
I didn't have any readers reviews on this
product yesterday so I will give my own quick one.
As I said yesterday
you need to be able to watch the races although because of one of the rules to
the system you will be able to pre select the ones that you need to watch. The
second rule to the system will also get rid of some of these, as soon as you
look at the prices.
I suppose some people may call this a "Method"
rather than a system because you pick the selections based on price at the end
rather than, systematically discarding selection based on the rules and then
ending up with one selection that you can concentrate on.
For obvious
reason I can not go into to much detail without revealing important parts of
how
laying impact works, but be prepared to lay over 5.
I
had a couple of goes yesterday and it worked well enough but I can not comment
long term and the author doesn't show results either.
The manual is made
up of the normal betfair and betting tutorials so don't expect to learn
anything new apart from the system.
I will say the method (system) is
different to many that I have come across and although I am little apprehensive
to suggest it will work long term I feel there there could be potential. After
looking at the prices before and then in running I could be tempted to try
trading the selections.
